Officer Gerald "Jerry" Stoffel and his K-9 partner "Nick".
Dog handler, Officer Stoffel has been with Galt Police
Department (PD) for eight years. Nick, a nine year old pure bred German
Shepherd, has been Jerry's partner for four years. Prior to serving with the
Galt PD Nick worked with the Placer County Sheriff Office. He's Certified in
both Narcotic Search and Protection.

Jerry and Nick exhibit their team effort
in stopping the "bad guy." (Police dogs are considered
