You could easily encounter one of these two. Jennifer (Jenny) Martin and Rylee Gray.
The first fund raiser for the John Moran Community Service Scholarship
While the main event was for the Texas Mudd Pitt coffee house. The
scholarship committee got its first chance to present the recently formed
scholarship and ask for donations. The direct community donations totaled
$123 and our share of the vendor money was $25, for a total of $148. We will be actively asking for donations for the next few months.

Cerissa Young (a Galt High senior) is accepting money from an unknown young man.
She beat me badly in collecting donations. I don't understand how a pretty
girl could beat out a white haired senior citizen in collecting donations:-)

Tiara Temple, Coach Paige Lampson and daughter Brittany were selling tickets to
a fund raiser pasta dinner at Wholey Ravioli. The tickets are $10 each for
adults and $5 for children. The event is Monday the 13th of November.

EXTREME SPORTS GEAR had a large
display of products. This is Jacob learning to balance on this tool for
practicing skateboarding. He is only 6 years old.

Luis Gamboa gave a great demonstration of his passion for trick roping. He
is a student at Galt High School and competes in Rodeo competition often.

Well known as a "friendly person" in Galt is Ruth Colombero. She was
sitting and enjoying the afternoon talking with everyone. Here she was
handing out literature for a political candidate.
Vendors
Booth space was sold to crafters and that money will be divided among the
charities. Thanks to the Texas Mudd Pitt.

Michael Parks of "Hands on Health" is demonstrating his message technique.
His sign covers him and his lucky patient has her head buried in the specialized
chair. Email to
hands.on.health@sbcglobal.net or call 209-327-9554

This was the most popular vendor booth of the day. Teresa Falla is owner
of Simply Yours and sells a lot of handbags. She can be reached at
209-545-2254, or email to
Tinkscharms@aol.com

Artie Barron (12) is showing off the jersey signed by Mike Bibbey of the Kings.
It was won in the raffle by Matthew Reyes.

Karla Rodriguez of Galt Dental Plaza was giving out free toothbrushes and
information about dental health.

The owners of the Texas Mudd Pitt had a clothing store in the same location.
They are selling out the remaining stock and it was available at a booth in the
parking lot. A great helper was 12 year old Alexis Cabrallero. She
worked hard all day long.

Elizabeth Stigelmayer of Elizabeth's Creations is a regular at local craft
shows. 209-745-3537
Show cars
More than 2 dozen show cars were on display for all to enjoy.
Most were hot rods from the local collector/builders. A few were "restored
to original" pre WWII cars. The owners were so friendly and nice that it
made for a great walk around the display area. They were also generous in
donations for the John Moran scholarship. I know nothing about cars, so I
just took pictures of what caught my eye.

Ed Bordenave from Lodi brought his 1931 Ford model "A" sedan.

This 1972 Dodge Challenger was proudly shown by owner Bob Schmidt from Stockton.

Trish and Jerry Funk of Galt show off their "new toy" just recently purchased.
It is VERY nice.

This convertible is a 1937 Ford owned by Dennis & Karen Valentine of Sacramento.

Jim and Carol Snow graced this event with their Ford "T" from Galt.

Donna Johnson from Galt is showing her 1955 Thunderbird.

Curtis Freih from Stockton brought his 1924 Durant Star from Stockton.

This cutie is Lucy Meyers (5) of Elk Grove. She is polishing "her" 1967
Mustang. I think that her polishing services should be for hire.
Earlier she was sitting protectively next to the car and eating chocolate M & M
candies............. which she DID NOT SHARE............................ at
least not with me.
