This new group is forming as a 501 C 3 non-profit organization. It will be
made up of Galt area people who wish to promote all aspects of Galt. It is
a basic continuation of the original idea of I Love Galt. Youth will play
a prominent role in the programs adopted by the board. This website will
be the principal venue for communication.
Mission Statement
Galt Activity Leadership Team is a volunteer non profit organization that
develops leadership, community pride, and civic responsibility, through
furthering educational goals, personal development, and positive interaction
within the community.
Presentations by Youth
Progress and activities will be reported to the Galt City Council at regular
meetings. This will not only inform Galt residents, but give public
speaking practice to our youth. This first presentation is also the first
public announcement of this non-profit charity.

My name is Vanessa Madrid and I am a senior at Galt High School.
1. A Non-profit organization for youth leadership education is being formed.
2. This group will compliment the City Council Youth Committee and other
groups.
3. The name is I Love GALT and the acronym is for Galt
Activity Leadership
Team.
4. The mission statement is done.
5. A team to make the application has been formed. Legal council is
available.
6. Considerable community support has been developed.
7. All of this is at no cost to the taxpayer.
